Mexico Adventure Overview

Early mornings hold the chance for moments of renewal, inspiration, and hope. We will start our days with morning meditations, centering time, and intention setting.

After breakfast, we will explore who we are, what brought us to where we are today, and moments in life that shaped us. We will walk through our intentions for this journey.

In the afternoon, we will travel to villages, work on service projects to challenge us, offer service to those in need, and learn about their culture.

En route to Patzcuaro, we will visit historic basilicas, museums of ancient art, and sanctuaries with precious handmade works of art. We will enjoy a few surprises along the way until we reach our private accommodations in the ancient city of Patzcuaro for the start of Dia de Los Muertos!

We have built-in free time to rest, relax, or explore the local area.

Here’s the thing about a Noble Adventure—you will be in-country with an entire team completely dedicated to creating a unique, fantastic and memorable experience for you. It is also a developing nation, so things are always paradoxical - simpler and often more difficult. While we publish this schedule to give you a sense of how the days flow, please know my team and I will be changing things up along the way—all of it geared toward giving you the best experience ever.

7 days/6 nights accommodations according to our itinerary

Transportation by private van service to/from the Morelia International Airport on arrival and departure dates

Daily, private ground transportation to/from all hill towns, sites, and locations included in the itinerary

All breakfasts, featuring freshly made tortillas, local seasonal fruits, organic cereals, and fresh eggs, plus juices, herbal teas, and Mexican cafe’

All lunches, unless you choose to go on your own during the festival

All regionally inspired dinners with local spirits, either prepared by local chefs or in the glorious restaurants across the region

2-3 Happy hours or evening cocktail hour for chatting, sharing, and relaxing

Entrance fees to all sites and guided tours

Spanish and English speaking international translators/guides

Not included: Airfare and any meals, alcoholic drinks, or personal transportation outside of that listed explicitly in the trip.

Gratuities for guides and drivers will also already be taken care of, but if you feel your spirit move to give additional tips, know they are not necessary but always appreciated.

Accommodations

Your accommodations will be the rustic nature retreat cabins, Legoverde Cabanas, in the heart of Zacapu, one of the four “Pueblos Mágico” (Magical Villages) of Michoacán.

In Patzcuaro, we will be providing beautiful homes with fire pits and areas to rest and relax in the beautiful peace after an evening of celebration and spirit.

As a police officer and later an investigator, I have worked with some combative folks, but I never knew coalition building and community organizing could be such demanding and chaotic work. Even under some very negative conditions, and an often hostile environment, Christina maintained her professionalism. Her work was always focused toward the goal of positive and impactful change for the entire community, and especially our youth. No matter what was thrown her way, Christina tried to mediate win/wins for everyone. She and I spent a great deal of time trying to negotiate the landmines that were often hidden in our community.
